AI credit expiry and rollover: what to check
Distinguish subscription resets, rollover banks, purchased packs and access after cancellation before planning a larger AI project.

Identify each credit pool
A service may provide subscription credits, daily rewards, trial credits and purchased packs. Their balances can appear together while following different expiry rules. Make a separate note for each pool, including when it arrives and which types of jobs can spend it.
Understand a no-rollover reset
Under a no-rollover rule, unused subscription credits do not accumulate indefinitely. At the documented monthly reset the allowance is replaced rather than simply added. Read whether the reset follows the subscription anniversary, a thirty-day interval or another stated schedule.
A bank ceiling is not a monthly grant
Some plans allow unused units to enter a rollover bank up to a capacity. The bank limit describes maximum storage, not the amount of new credits each month. Inspect what happens when the bank is full and whether stored credits require an active paid subscription.
Annual billing does not settle the pool rule
Paying for a year can still leave you with monthly resets. For a large production deadline, confirm when the credits you need will be available, rather than multiplying a monthly allowance by twelve and assuming it is immediately spendable.
Cancellation and upgrades can change access
Unused credits can expire, be cleared or become inaccessible when a plan ends. An upgrade may have a different carryover rule from an ordinary renewal. Check the current policy for the specific event instead of applying a general rollover label to every account change.
Keep a dated record
Save the applicable plan and credit terms when choosing a subscription. Bestivio keeps source links, observed publication context and an explicit approval method. Older price observations can remain useful history, but should not be mistaken for a confirmed current checkout offer.
